'Glue & Cloth' (WEEK 4)

We began this exercise by selecting a one chair or more from the workrooms.
My partnerand I quickly realiased that our end result would partly come down to what chairs we choose. And so we chose 2 differnt types a stool and a chair with wheels.

1.We positioned our chairs/stool into an interesting structure and tightly wrapped it in clingfilm ensuring there were no gaps this was to protect the chair from what we were about to do and would later assist in creating our 3dimensional structure.

2. We then covered our structure with mutton cloth a knitted stretchy fabric and eased it slowly over our structure as to not tear it and then tied a knot at the end.

3. Having covered our structure with mutton cloth we then covered our entire sturcture with a mix of PVA glue: mixing 2 parts water with 1 part glue.

and waited for it to dry...
